Update your Hackable PSP[Slim/Fhat] to 5.50 GEN D-2 w/out pandora Box

Let say the PSP Slim 2000 version is 3.71 M33-2
You cannot play Tekken 6 in this version
This are the screen shots and procedures

3.71 M33-2 to 5.50 Gen D2?

first you need to update to 5.00m33,.. I don't have a pandora... so I will use hellcat's Recover Flasher

Let's proceed 5.00m33 first using hellcat's,.

After you Download the hellcat and 5.00 firmware.. Connect PSP to PC then extract to Memory stick/PSP/GAME [folder] the hellcat . RAR.

Then the Firmware 500.PBP is in Root Memory stick...like this

then disconnect the PSP from PC and go to GAMES in yourg PSP,..

RUN HELLCAT'S RECOVERY

Choose

->I AGREE.now take me to the program<-

then choose

-> Install CFW (of version set above)<-

This the last option that will appear




-> reset (format) settings as well<- then flashing..............................

wait until this will appear .... press any button then POWER ON



check System information



now we are near to 5.50 Gen D2,..

Before anything else download the next software for the next procedure....we will not use HELLCAT's any more

After downloading the said files we can start the next step

Remember this two files

Must Upgrade first to 5.50 GEN D Full like at the picturebelow 1st step
after that use the 2nd File 5.50 GEN D-2 for finale,..

Then lets start again

extract the 1st file or GEN D full to memory stick but connect again your PsP to your PC

the 550.PBP should be in ROOT MEMORY stick

Disconnect the PSP from PC,...then Go to games again
you will see this icon5.50 gend2 na,.. i forgot to take a picure for GEN D full icon just RUN it

ENTER.......................



ENTER,..choose the first OPTION ENTER again



flashing again...............................



after Complete choose REBOOT to rerestart the PSP,..


after REBOOT check SYSTEM INFORMATION the FW should be 5.50 GEN D FULL



this will be the last step,...Connect PSP to PC again,..

EXTRACT the 2nd FILE again ,... or 5.50 GEN D-2 quick update
Yes to all

then disconect again your PSP then go to games

RUN it



this a QUICK UPDATER,,
Press the X button to start the patch,..



If completed,... smile Exit
